3-4 months should be good, I think. That's not too far in the future, but still enough time for the mobs to have suffered some of the effects of the drought.

I've been on the fence about continuing to RP for a while, but darn it, I just can't leave. XD I've grown to like Linklu so much and had made so many good friends and memories here, so imma stick around for as long as I can. :3 I've made my decision on what characters I'm keeping as well.

Shooting Star and Lil Trooper: I was really having fun playing out their relationship when the old site shut down so they'll definitely be returning. Since we're considering a time skip consisting of a few months, Lil Trooper's departure from the Linklu may happen the second or third RP day in, depending on how long we skip.

Scissorclaws and Thirteen: I still want to work on their relationship, Scissorclaws teaching Thirteen to become an assassin, along with acting as a parental role model in between.

Goomba, Copperhead and Launter: If we still plan on keeping the Flames, they'll be returning. I'm excited to get another chance at playing out their plots.

Mumble: If we still plan on going through with that burrow raid/pupnapping plot, I'll keep him, but if it's been scrapped, I was gonna say he died during the drought when a cape cobra infiltrated the burrow or something.

As for the rest of my characters....

Ninja and Ninji: I'm really not sure how to proceed with them since it looks like Meyerm may not be coming back. For now I'll have them under a dispersed status, until/if Meyerm ever somehow finds out about this site.

Poodle and Ferhoodle: As a result of the severe drought, I'll say maybe their mother wasn't getting enough food to properly feed them, so they died of starvation or something? IDK. XD However they perished during the drought.

Rattler: He had no plots and I didn't really develop any plots for him, so I'll say he contracted TB from his old mob and died.

I'll definitely want to carry out the plot me and Pan created for Voldemort and Kaina.

I forgot to include my unborn pups because I forgot we were skipping ahead in time LOL. It's okay, I do plan on keeping Chickadee, as well as Sassy. Kendal Aurelia is obviously going to be dispersed, and I might just say Tiptoe Linklu was killed in a burrow raid because I never came up with plans for him. As for Mary McKenzie (Golden's pup), I will have to redo that entire plot so she is still unborn.
