Anklebiters Planning Topi

I'll post here later. Just thought I'd... drop this here... sorry Sky xD
Sky wrote:I like the variety of governments members would have to choose from
A kind monarchy, two tyrannical ones, a survivalist leadership and the very humane council setup
It's good for the group and provides for lots of opportunity
Imagine the Linklus interacting with the ABs at one point. Be it out of necessity or something
How the groups might percieve each other and how the different characters' biases could even spur petty arguments between them over the more superior leaders and just... fun angst things lol

Sooo something we need to think about is Anklebiter leadership.
They were very anarchist to begin with, as everyone was a pup, there wasn't much need for it with no adults around. Of course, we know it didn't last. Because of all they've been through, the impression of dominant leadership isn't a very good one... Between Palladium, Voldemort, and Luchina, it's not a popular choice among older members. A lot of members felt that power shouldn't be given to any two individuals. The original plan was to form a committee of two or three couples to lead the mob, or perhaps even just members...
However, we will be getting a new generation of Anklebiters here. Most, if not all, will have been raised in the traditional way. This would create a political conflict in the group. This would bring a lot of plots, but we should still keep an end goal in mind. To outsiders, the Anklebiters would seem chaotic and broken. It's up to us to change that, and bring out the strong meerkats that have been lurking deep inside.
We need to have a clear line that defines our authority, while keeping the community feel that makes the group unique. And we may have to compromise in the end.
And don't forget. While the Anklebiters are squabbling, they have some pretty nasty neighbors...

Oh man, I hadn't thought about the newcomers. You bring up a good point with those clashing views. My heart's squeezing a little thinking about this Cinnamon Roll mob having to deal with such inner conflict, but it would make for some interesting plot points for sure.
And they do. They do have some pretty nasty neighbors...
Spider just like "who cares about leadership, you all are making me claustrophobic either way ugh"

Oooh, this idea is making me wanna bring back one of my old AB characters. Actually, since several months before the old Linklu site shutdown, I was thinking of bringing Misty Morning back. She was going be pregnant by an unknown rover. This scenario just sparked a plot for her. owo I might keep the idea of having her be pregnant. As a result of the misery she endured under Luchina's dictatorship, she'll have trouble trusting dominant individuals, fearing they may mentally and physically abuse her and her pups. Once her pups are born and mature a little bit, I may want the litter to develop conflicting ideas of leadership as they're exposed to the varying politics. Some would support harmony while others support chaos. >D

Just wondering how the dominance situation of the AB is going to shake down. Obviously there will be conflict as to how it should work out, but is it currently being ruled by a committee system? How is that committee determined? Is that our end goal?

The committee hasn't been developed yet, I plan to move that forward on the new day.
